Rare 1963 End Of An Era Coin And Currency Set
Both the last 1963 Franklin Half Dollar and the 1963 $2 US Note have been out of issue for at least 50 years!

Franklin was the first person other than a President to appear on a circulating US coin. Struck in 90% silver, it came to an abrupt end when it was replaced in 1964 with the JFK half dollar.

The US $2 notes are very distinctive, issued with red Treasury seals and red serial numbers before being withdrawn by the government in the early '60s, leaving only Federal Reserve Notes.

This unusual set is displayed in a custom wallet with story card explaining the history and importance of each item.
