Rare Silver Capped Bust Dime
175 Years Old!

Pre-Civil War dime minted in Philadelphia was the first 10-cent coin to be produced in America. The design underwent many changes between 1809 and 1837, but this coin is still the only dime minted with the lettering "10C" indicating its denomination--subsequent issues were inscribed with "One Dime."

The obverse side shows a bust of Lady Liberty wearing a "freedom cap" from Revolutionary War days, hence the name.

Secured in a book-style portfolio, with Certificate of Authenticity. Limited quantities.
