Federal Reserve Bicentennial Two Dollar Bill Collection

Item # 44460

The Federal Reserve operates as the nation's central bank, and as such, prints billions of dollars, or "bank notes," to ensure that adequate amounts of currency and coin are in circulation.

There are 12 Federal Reserve districts that distribute the currency. Since bank notes are distributed regionally, it is almost impossible to acquire a complete set from all 12 districts, making this set a very unique collection.

One dozen Series 1976 $2 bills--one from each district issued in the bicentennial year, and each in crisp, uncirculated condition--are displayed in a handsome folio with a Certificate of Authenticity and additional information.

A must-have for currency collectors and history buffs.
